Charity is a type of organisation that works to enable a group of people to help another. Charity can be done for each many things like animals, old humans, transgenders or handicapped people and many more. Many of the best known charities were set up by people who felt passionate about a situation that they believed was wrong or preventable. Alone in United Kingdom there are more than 180 thousand charities.
Charity can be done on large scale and can also be done on small scale. However, this does not solve all the problems of the world. So some would say, why bother trying? On the other hand another way of thinking about it is - just how bad would the world be without that money helping out? The government donates money to the charities from us, the taxpayer and for many people they like to know where their money is going. Many charities are involved in improving the lives of people around the globe. There are, however always lots of cynical people who knock charities especially if the money is not spent in our country, believing that ‘charity begins at home’. Many charities in the United Kingdom do help the local people from homelessness to cancer relief, but recently international aid - helping others in different countries is one of the most hotly debated areas in the voluntary sector.

Giving money to those in need can be a personally satisfying experience, but there is a choice between donating nationally and internationally through charities or giving directly to those around you. This essay will consider the merits of both approaches.

The first advantage of providing direct support is that you can know exactly how your money is being spent. For example, if you give money directly to people in your local village or town, you can see where it has gone. When you donate to larger charitable organisations, on the other hand, you are not sure how much will actually be given to those in need as opposed going on other costs such as administration and expensive marketing campaigns. Another benefit is that you can see the impacts on those you are helping, which can lead not only to great personal satisfaction but also to respect from others in the local community who appreciate the work you do.

Charitable organizations often depend partly on donations from businesses. Such donations to charitable organizations represent a major form of corporate philanthropy. They need our support for helping the needy people. A human should donate a small part of its income. We should move forward to help these organizations so that they can help the needy people.

There are many charitable organizations. Best of them is the  "Charatism" It has 100% transparency for the amount of donation. This organization also sends the images of the food packets which have the print of the name of the donor. I use to donate through this organization because of its 100% transparency.
Every charitable act is a stepping stone towards the help of the needy people.
Please do support to the needy people. You can go through the link given below.

It definitely is a satisfying feeling when what we are wanting to share and help with for any kind of community or group, we know that our help - monetary or otherwise is reaching the right recipients. ๐Ÿ‘
Charity is indeed a good cause and supports the community a little good way. Everyone should know what to give to the community to make life better and create a healthy, livable society. Nice read,

It's so satisfying when you can get the chance to stand beside a person in need. Actually it's our duty to serve our community to make everyone live their lives happily.

I also believe that before going to spread your money for a vacation or shopping something expensive, donate a part of your money in a noble cause that will bring you inner happiness. Loved the post.

Those who give to charity are also participating in a cause that is larger and more significant than themselves. People don't need to participate in volunteerism to give back – giving to a charitable cause is an equally significant way in helping an organisation make a difference and provide aid to the needy.

Charity is a cause we should all adopt. it is always good to help when we can. I prefer giving to known organizations and people.

Helping someone in need not only do good to others but gives you a sense of pride and satisfaction which no other cause can give.

Charity is something that should come from within us, it would be a way of life. I always believe in dasvaan or giving 10% of your earnings to charity. It might not be to an organization. It can also be to someone you know who is in need.

Charity is a noble thing but one has to be sure that the funds reach the right people. It's good to donate and feel satisfied with the only life we own.

Charity should be done by anyone who can afford to. Admire your passion and the way you have explained it in detail. Transparency is very important when you give your hardearned money to help others.

Many are not comfortable donating to charities because they are not always transparent. I recall a brouhaha recently where a charity hosted the fundraiser decided to keep 50% of the funds for "expenses incurred hosting the event". I love the fact that Charitism is 100% transparent. Thanks so much for sharing about it.
Charity can be in different forms. Monterey is the most common one. However, we can also share our time, love, physical labour and resources with the less fortunate. I find that more than the act of 'donation' any activity I undertake teaches me something. Also I am always humbled by how a little bit from us can make a big difference for others.
As a part of the community, it becomes our utmost responsibility to contribute our bit in every possible way. Doing charity is one of the easiest, earliest ways to do it.

Helping others helps our soul. There is a beautiful initiative where they share pictures of the child you sponsor growing up on all important milestones..

I recently heard about Charitism and was planning to check on it. Thanks for such a detailed article. Yes, Charity begins at home and we need to teach our kids about it too.

Transparency is something we all seek, thanks for sharing your experience with Chartism. It becomes very difficult to gauge the authenticity unless it comes out of someone's experience.

Kudos to the work charitism is doing. In fact this must be taught to kids atban Early age.

Lovely post Yashila. I agree charity can be done on large scale and can also be done on small scale. Even a small step can make a big difference.
Charity when done by right sense and when person who donates gets to know how it's being used then it is very good. Good to know about this organization.
